FAQs

Just before placing an order

What are the dimensions of the dumpster?

Dumpsters are 5 feet tall, 14 feet long, and 8 feet broad.

Indeed. The dumpster’s back doors slide open.
No. There are no coverings on our dumpsters. During delivery, we take care of them. To minimize adding weight to the container, we advise covering while in use to keep out rainwater and undesired objects from neighbors.
When it is delivered to the nearby landfill, the weight is determined. Gross weight is calculated by weighing each unit. To find the tare weight, the unit is weighed once more after the dumpster has been emptied. The actual weight of the materials is equal to the difference between the gross and tare weights. State bureaus of weights and measures oversee the scales.
Please refer to the list of permitted and prohibited items.
A disposal weight allowance, a specified rental period, and the one-time delivery and removal of the chosen roll-off dumpster are all included in the cost of renting a dumpster. A completely authorized and licensed disposal facility will handle the disposal of all garbage.
Yes, you will be charged at the designated tonnage rate if the weight of the materials in your dumpster is greater than the included weight stated in your order confirmation. At the disposal facility, we are charged based on weight, and we transfer this charge appropriately.
Please be mindful that the weight of the dumpster and its contents may cause damage to your driveway, even if it is rare. Any harm resulting from the container’s use, placement, or removal is not EDDE’s responsibility. If you are worried about property damage, we advise putting plywood underneath the container. Please take the necessary safety measures to keep your driveway safe.
No, a permission is usually not required. A permit is often only required if the unit will be placed on a sidewalk, road, or public property. Please review your local regulations.
To ensure sufficient clearance, it is advised to leave four feet on each side of the trash. For information on dumpster dimensions, please consult our dumper size guide.

SCHEDULING AND ORDERING

Are there emergency services available?

Indeed. All services, however, depend on availability.

We advise giving at least 48 hours’ notice prior to the delivery date.

Venmo, Cash App, and all major credit cards are accepted.

Although it is not necessary, we advise having someone present. If no one is present, the driver will position the container using their best judgment. If no one is present to supervise the dumpster’s placement, there will be a cost. It is the customer’s responsibility to give clear, unhindered access to the container when it is scheduled for removal. You can be assessed a wasted travel cost if the container is inaccessible.

Any modifications or cancellations must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery and may incur fees.

AFTER YOU'VE MADE YOUR ORDER

What happens if my planned container is delivered before I'm ready?

You can be charged for a wasted trip if the container cannot be delivered on the day it is supposed to be delivered. Before a delivery can be rescheduled, all fees and charges must be paid in full.

Make a call to arrange for the container to be picked up. You will be charged a repeat fee for the prior container if you require another one. Keep in mind that scheduling pick-up is your responsibility. You will be charged in accordance with the pricing scale if you don’t comply.

Our typical rental period is seven days. You will be billed according to our price scale if you keep it for more than seven days. You can keep it for a maximum of two weeks, after which it will be collected up automatically.
